Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to stay at our Kominka (traditional Japanese house). We are excited to host you and provide you with a memorable experience. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below to ensure a smooth reservation process.

Reservation and Deposit

Reservation: To secure your Kominka stay, a 50% deposit of the total booking cost is required at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

1. 10-Day Notice: We require a minimum of 10 days' notice for cancellations or reservation changes. Cancellations made within this period will be subject to our cancellation policy.

2. Refund and Transaction Fee: In case of a cancellation, a refund will be issued for the deposit amount, minus a 5% transaction fee.

3. No Show: If you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and have not provided prior notice of your cancellation, the full cost of the first night's stay will be charged.

Cancellation Procedure

Contact Us: To cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible through our provided contact information.

Early Departure

Early Departure: If you decide to check out before the originally scheduled departure date, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the reservation as initially booked.

Changes to Reservation

Reservation Changes: Changes to the reservation dates are subject to availability and must be requested at least 10 days in advance. If the new dates result in a higher rate, the difference will be charged to your payment method on file.

Refunds

Refund Processing: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as soon as possible, typically within 5-7 business days, to the original payment method used for the booking.
