Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing to stay at our Kominka (traditional Japanese house). We are excited to host you and provide you with a memorable experience. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below to ensure a smooth reservation process.

Reservation and Deposit

Reservation: To secure your Kominka stay, a 50% deposit of the total booking cost is required at the time of reservation.

30-Day Cancellation Policy

• To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in.

• If you cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, 50% for all nights will be charged.

• If you cancel less than 7 days before check-in, 100% for all nights will be charged.

• You can also receive a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking if the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in.

 

No Show: If you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and have not provided prior notice of your cancellation, the full cost of the stay will be charged.

Cancellation Procedure

Contact Us: To cancel or modify your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible through our provided contact information.

Early Departure

Early Departure: If you decide to check out before the originally scheduled departure date, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the reservation as initially booked.

Changes to Reservation

Reservation Changes: Changes to the reservation dates are subject to availability and must be requested at least 30 days in advance. If the new dates result in a higher rate, the difference will be charged to your payment method on file.

Refunds

Refund Processing: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as soon as possible, typically within 5-7 business days, to the original payment method used for the booking.

Policy Changes: We reserve the right to update or modify this cancellation policy at our discretion. Any changes will be communicated to you in advance.
