We built the "studio" using the saved beams and traditional materials that we imported from Japan with a wonderful help of Kominka Collective, a non-profit organization. Their mission is to save Japanese folk houses and the beautiful materials with which they were built while preserving and passing on traditional carpentry methods and other building arts.
